Seems high but because of the current silicon shortage, there's really no helping it. Maybe $1700 or $1800 when things were normal but now? Yeah, you overpaid a bit but not by a crazy amount imo.

My question is, would it be better to just build a gaming pc and cancel my order? Do you think I could get an entire system built with screen/keyboard/mouse etc for the same price?

Last post got ignored because it was too long and wordy, so here we go again, ill make it short and sweet... 😛

Is $2,549 CAD ($2,111 USD) (before taxes) too much money for a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with 5800H, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, 2x 1 TB NVME? I feel like i got ripped off somehow and I haven't even received it yet.

No, 3000 series GPUs on Amazon are going for nearly $2000...that's your entire budget. And it ain't getting any better until next year at the earliest (so I've heard).
