Hello!

I had a quick question.

I am trying to sell my 3 year old MSI GeForce GTX 970 Afterburners and I was wondering how much they are worth.

As I said they are three years old and have seen moderate ish usage for 2 years but I stopped gaming for a year due to a lot of school work and exams!

I live in France and was wondering if eBay is a good place to sell them and if so at what price for both together.

William

Checking American Ebay prices I see them anywhere from $100-250. Some even reaching $400. I didn't spend enough time to see which ones sold or not.

You should check on ebay and local selling sites to see what GTX 970's go for and/or what they have been sold for and sell your cards based on those prices. At the moment in the UK, on ebay they go for about 140£, which is about 162 euros. Higher end models that don't have a blower style will usually cost more. In france a EVGA 970 FTW goes for about 200 euros, so 180-190 euros or so may be a fair price for one of your 970. But again check for yourself to make sure.

Just now, svmlegacy said:

Set them as an auction and let the free market decide their value.

and what if it ends selling bellow actual market value. That does happen regularly, and considering that they probably don't have a trustworthy ebay account that would definitely increase the likelihood of such a scenario to happen.

Nah. People will just lowball and then flip the cards.

Doing as @AndreiArgeanusaid (checking local/regional sold prices) is the far better way to see what your cards are actually worth. Price at or slightly below that. They're blower cards so I'd say slightly below if you want them to sell quicker, most people prefer axial coolers.
