So i have an old HP 3390 all in one printer...and it is spitting out an extra page after each printed one...its too frustrating...and this is not the case with only printing...but also with the copier...so i think the problem is not

with the driver or some computer setting..but may be some setting of my printer...or something related to its hardware...or somerthing else..but if anyone knows any thing about this problem pls help me out...its killing me...

Could you post a picture of the window that shows up when you click print for something.

Hmm, I really don't know but I did notice that it says 'status: the printer is in an error state.' I'll post back if I ever think of/find a solution.

Good Luck!

I notice that it says -

Document: 8.3 x 11.7

Paper:        8.5 x 11

Maybe that extra 0.7 length is the culprit. Somewhere in your wordprocessor, or in the printer settings you may have a setting where you have the wrong paper size set. So it's trying to print the last 0.7 on a separate sheet.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

Though it wasn't that 0.7 length or may be it was..I don't know....but after you asked me to go through size settings..I found an option to select tray and I just happened to set it from auto to manual(tray 2)...and it was all gone...it doesn't throw off any extra pages now...

So thanks mate...
