Will it work on vinyl?

I plan to carbon fibre wrap my table will my logitech G203 lightspeed work on the table without a mouse mat? 

Look to the left, slap from the right, look to the right, slap from the left, look up, kick down low, look down low, uppercut to the head. 

Congrats I've been knocked out.

Is it glossed or satin/matte? Optical sensor hates the former a lot.

It's not smooth or glossy, it felt like it had designs on it, not too sure if it's satin or matte
