  1. I have a classmate who needs to get a replacement phone on a budget, and did our research and found the poco X3 pros the best value we can pick up for his $150.
  2. Which should I get? both in asus tuf variants.
  3. Country of purchase : Singapore Price of purchase :$549 + tax Item purchased : Xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g global edition + (free gift - xiaomi mi true wireless basics 2 buds) After 1 month of use I found the phone pretty good although I used my own audio-technica wireless neckband it had flawless connection no drops in signal since it was on 5.2 Bluetooth. If you use the provided dongle by xiaomi with wired earphones they sound as good as Samsungs with dolby atmos, speakers are good vocals are clear but lacks bass. gaming was pretty smooth on mid to high settings
  4. Trust me I've used a I phone for 4 yrs by the second year my battery deteriorated by 30%, Android phones may seem like a mess to new users but once you start on long term use you find alot of shortcuts to clean up and the shortcuts apply to all brands of android. That's why when I switch around with android brands I don't feel much difference except for some of the shitty ui skins aka vivo. And its not the 1080-1440 frames that affects you it's thr refresh rate and touch rate. Me going from I phone's 60 fps refresh rate to to xiaomi 90- 120fps is a huge difference, touch rate 120 to 480
  5. I never go for older phones or refurbished, for 2 reasons. 1. Older phones even you get them new the batteries have been deteriorating for that 1-2 years. So you'll have to spend more getting a Replacement battery. *note * the second reply also applies to this. 2. Refurbished phones usually had their batteries replaced that means the seal has to be opened. That means the ip 67 does not apply anymore nor does it's original warranty.
  6. My mom has used the phone for about 1 and a 1/2 weeks so far. From first look it's a beautiful slim, sleek and lightweight phone. It's a good phone but it's not for gaming, it's more for the ladies that take alot (and I mean alot) of selfie pics and vids... like my vain older sister. The main advantage of this phone is it's slim body and lightweight form. Casual gaming is fine but anything past 20 mins it gets uncomfortably hot.
  7. Yes, I'm pretty tired of seeing the so called hypocritical actions of humans. Maybe it's time for another "ice age".
  8. I never use Qi charging, it heats up the phone like hell not good for components or the battery to interact with that kinda heat. Especially for the cpu. I always change my phone once ever 2 years but I alway setup my old phones into emulators and gaming consoles. I just do a battery change and it's good to go.
  9. Meh the pens suck, I added that part because I ran a speed test between my dad's ultra and my uncle's samsung ultra, I found out it throttles the 888 SD to keep it far cooler compared to the Samsung, and realized you ca shut off it in settings to match or push it above the Samsung. There maybe other xiaomi mi 11 ultra users out there that would like to know that. I know xiaomi could care less for me I could care less for them either, but that did make a phone that killed most of this year's samsung's range. I praise the product not the company, if end of year oneplus picks up their sh
  10. I charge it on my 15w Samsung charger after school usually. It get about 80% after 1hr ++.
  11. I like your signature, I agree the world is ugly. I can't wait to see when it burns, and covid is just the beginning.
  12. Mid ranged phones can't make use of the 12gb of ram the 732g/750g can't fully even my mom's 780g with 8gb don't utilize all at 4k 60fps and that's the most difficult task of the phone. I like the nord ce but it's at 1 disadvantage no expandable storage and that's important. (photos, music, moves/dramas, games/emulators,)
  13. Lol, I came from a Samsung family user. now Dad : xiaomi mi 11 ultra Mom: xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g Sis : xiaomi redmi note 10 pro Mi : xiaomi Poco F3 And the best part I stripped all the ads and bloatware out off all 4 phones. And unlocked the chipset for my mom's and dad's Xiaomi MI 11 ultra >Samsung S21ultra! (I don't understand why xiaomi downclocks the 888 snapdragon) Xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g > Samsung A52 5g (matches my stock poco in performance now) and has Expandable storage. and it's cheaper
  14. 1. Budget It's cheap phone with great camera, screen, security and last generation's overclocked flagship snapdragon 870. 2. Security It has a special security function that keeps prying eyes from your Facebook, twitter, Instagram and twitch. Even in class f your teachers ask to see your phone just one tap and you can switch screens unnoticed. (did that in class a few times) 3. Performance It's performance for its price is top end eve this year's top end mid range loses to it in performance and value. 4.Gaming Android gaming or emulation d
  15. And just make a Samsung FE, I mean if they are worried that the FE is eating into the base variant why make a phone that's worse and cause more e-waste. And they say they wanna be eco friendly. The FE has almost everything the base has and more I've used the earlier generation of their note fe it was amazing although I couldn't get my dad to get me the Samsung S20 fe the note lasted me 3yrs. Now it plays another role in my life after a battery change. A dedicated emulator /Android game console. *no oled burn in so far.
