cycle count went up even though it was never plugged in to a charger

Go to solution Solved by svmlegacy,

The cycle count is probably measued by the number of discharge cycles. No need to worry.

So on Monday I go the new m1 MacBook Pro 16gb 512ssd and Ive been thinking my battery has been draining fast but after some testing it seems to last 12-13 hours which is fine by me but I realized that when trying to figure out how long my battery will last my cycle count went from two to three without me plugging it in should I be concerned?
