This issue just appeared for the first time today.  I am currently using a pair of the Corsair HS60 Pro Surround (connected via the 7.1 surround sound USB adapter) as my headset because it was a fairly cheap fit for the broke college student I am.  I have been using them for about 5 months and the driver I believe for the audio on my computer is now only reading it as a Conexant Audio Device in comparison to what it was up until today being read as a Realtek audio device.  The switch has caused it to also begin being read as speakers instead of as a headset.  The problem that is happening from this is that when I try to listen to just about anything, there is a constant static within the headset.  I have contacted Corsair and I had even been in touch with Mircosoft because I was had seen that it was supposedly an issue wit hone of the updates but it can not be rolled back.  Started troubleshooting on my own with it at about 4pm and I am typing this at 12am.

If anyone has any clue or has had the same trouble please help!
