5 Zone Receiver

Hello, I’m not exactly sure if this is allowed and if it isn’t all good to delete it, but I’m in search of a receiver that can do 5 zones for a friend, know I know there are much easier ways then finding one of these but this person keeps insisting on a receiver. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know price isn’t really a factor cause I’m not the one buying it but I’d prefer to not give options that aren’t a fortune, thanks.

Really, "receivers" only go up to 4 zones, like with the Yamaha RX-Z11. Which is a 5500 USD product.

 

I'd honestly just get 5 Echo's or 5 Sonos Connect/Connect:AMP's and call it a day. It will be much cheaper and more flexible.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
