As shown by the tier list, your PSU is Tier D.

It will work, but not well.

Here's my guess as to what happened.

When you were playing your game, something in your PSU gave out. I don't know what. In any case, it's not able to provide something that the motherboard needs.

Based on what you've told me, it sounds like the 12V rail. The CPU and GPU need the 12V power from your PSU to run, and what you said (staying on red CPU light for 5 seconds then switching to the VGA light and staying) sounds like a fault with your PSU.

IF your 1050 Ti works in your friend's PC, get a new power supply. Get a Tier A or B 550W unit from this list.

IF your 1050 Ti does not work in your friend's PC, ask him if you can borrow his PSU to test. If your random GPU card works then, you know that the PSU was the problem, but it also killed your 1050 Ti (which sucks).

This is my first forum post please be gentle

Tomahawk B550

Ryzen 5 5600x

16gb ram

1050TI

So I was playing tarkov w a friend when I died and immediately my old monitor went into a red screen while my AOC monitor showed no connections, I restarted the pc and the CPU or GPU fans weren't spinning a red light hovered on the CPU for about 5 seconds and then switching to the VGA, I tried re-seating the gpu and even tried a super old gpu that I don't even know the name of and tried re-seating it as well to no success, I'm planning on going to my friends place with the 1050ti to see if it is borked or not, but I would love to get help from professionals on knowing if the gpu is actually dead

What is your PSU? Full model number, please - not "80+ gold 500w", do something like "Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 750W".
It may be a GPU or motherboard issue, but it could also be a PSU issue.

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.

I can only test my gpu at his place due to him having a low end setup and a ~400w psu, while I have a 320w Psu from my old pre built which I took the gpu from I don't think it would be enough to supply the gpu and CPU I have, but thank you for your help I appreciate it a lot, once I'm back from his place I will respond if the gpu is dead or not
