ssd migration laptop-ness

right i have a Samsung 840 evo 250g and i am going on holiday for 4 weeks and will have no good computer, apart from a old i3 laptop that is slow as anything so i was thinking could i move the ssd into the laptop? it has my os on it and all my games that would benefit it being on the ssd, would there be any problems??? i cant see any problem with it? the bios wouldn't affect it as it will be the in the same slot and there is nothing i can see that would stop me from doing this. but just making sure that it work thanks! if there are any issues with what i plan to do please tell me!
