Its good to hear that Zotac cards are not utter garbage as some say.

Zotac do have some really good cards, but also some pretty bad ones.

Btw you mean VRM i think. Because VRAM at 100C means its toast already.

No i meant VRAM. It can run at 100°C, but that's where it starts to thermal throttle.

VRM at 70°C is fine too. They can often also run over 100°C and be fine.

I was Monitoring a New 1660super which I got for my second system.
Its a Zotac Twin Fan Edition.
I was stress testing it with Aida64 and found that the Die temps was around 60-63 and VRM temps were around 70C.
Is it normal for this card?

I measured the gpu temps in Aida64 and it was 65 and my IR thermometer read 63 and VRM temps on the IR gun read around 70C.
The temps with the IR gun was taken on the backside of the PCB.
Ambient room temps is 34C

Airflow is 3x120 in front,

1x 120 exhaust in back and 2x 120 exhaust on top via a 240mm AIO. GPU fans @2700RPM

Temps are fine. Die temps would be worrying when they're at 85-90°C, VRAM is worrying when above 100°C.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Thats amazing for a basic Zotac card. Refer to @Stahlmann on whats the safe temperature for GPU parts.

Yep, this one is the best one in budget segment so far when compared with a Inno3d, Inno has far worse vrm @4phases with Zotac having 6phases.

My main card which is also the same model runs maybe a tad bit hotter as its nearly 1yr old.
