Laptop black screen

The Problem:

The screen of my Zephyrus G14 does not turn on when i start it. The rest of the laptop works as intended, I can as of right now only use it on a 2nd Monitor.

What i have already tried:

-Installing latest updates and drivers

-Opening the laptop to look for disconnected wires

-uninstalling and reinstalling the monitor in device manager

-display settings

-clean reinstall of Windows

 

Some details i found along the way:

-ASUS diagnose tool (MyAsus) did not detect any Problems

-The Monitor shows up in device Manager

-it gets recognised in the system settings, without a name however

-it is configured as a standard PnP-Monitor

 

You guys are my last hope before i send it to repair. Thank you for your time regardless of the outcome.

Did you try checking Window's multiple displays settings? Go to Control Panel > System > Display > scroll down to the bottom, Multiple Displays. The dropdown should be Extend These Displays. Alternatively, a keyboard shortcut for this is the Windows Key + P.
