I have a Inspiron 5558 i3 it works fine I just want it to run more like a new laptop. Is it able to be upgraded and is it even worth it?

"more like a new laptop" in what? Boot times? Usability in multitask? Ability to run games?

Thats wishful thinking, especially if we talking running newer games. In that case, build a new system or buy a new gaming laptop. But i think esports title can do fine with RAM upgrade so the igpu can have more vram.

But for the former, you can boost boot times with upgrading to an SSD.
