B550 vs X570

I’m planning a new build and I would like to know which is better, the x570 mobos or the b550 mobos. I’ve seen videos but I’m still not sure since good b550 is a lot lower price than a good x570 motherboard so I would like to see more opinions. The budget for the build is gonna be around 1600 dollars and the cpu I’m gonna be using is the 5600x with a 3060 ti.

Yes it is gonna be for gaming and a little bit of side streaming in the future

If you're not doing something that specifically needs X570's features like multiple gen4 SSDs or GPUs, B550 is probably a better deal.

 

Which boards are you looking at? There are better and worse options on both chipsets.

That's a pretty solid board. If you want recommendations, you could get similar performance for cheaper with the B550-A Pro or B550 TUF, or better memory overclocking for not a lot more with the B550 Aorus Pro, but the Elite is a very solid option as well if there's specific reasons you want it.
