So my pc has been doing this weird distortion glitch ever since I did a completely new installation of windows. Please help it is very annoying.

There are several things I would try:

Ensure your GPU has the latest driver installed

Make sure the monitor works with other devices without the distortion

Try a different cable to connect the display

Make sure the port on the display and the PC does not looked damaged

Make sure you Graphics card (if you have one) is fully inserted in the slot
