Hi to everyone,

in the last period my pc started to show black screen, at the beginning it was something like I was disconnecting the monitors and reconnecting them, but now it goes in black screen and after two o three minutes the fans ramp up to full speed. The black screens happens with random scenarios, so they aren't caused by a specific program, but I've noted that it's more likely to crash if there is a light load on the gpu, like watching youtube, and not when I'm playing heavier games like Horizon 4. Then there is the bsod problem the code shown is always the same "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL" and happens in the same scenarios as the black screens, it seems like those events are interchangeable.

I've already run some benchmark with Aida64 for cpu stress test and FurMark for gpu stress test, but it runned for 10 minutes straight without any issue and nothing reached a critical temperature so we can exclude an issue releated to thermals, but I'm planning anyway to put some fresh thermal paste in the gpu and doing so I can check if there is some visible damage to the components.

If you have any ideas of what I can do or what can cause the problem is well accepted and I thank you in advance.

Kinda sounds like a RAM problem if it has problems in the browser but not in the latest games.

Have you tried looking into the task manager before the blackscreen happens.

I've looked into the task manager before a black screen but nothing seemed strange. Later I'll try to run memtest to check the RAM so I can exactly know what is causing those issue after that I'll post an update.

So, I've runned MemTest86 and it didn't report any memory error and luckily I can remove the RAM from the list of possible failed component. When I'll have some meaningful update I'll post it.
