Anyone know a Motherboard that is CHeaper than the Asus VIII Dark Hero, Im going to put it with a ryzen 7 5800x but I don't want to buy a diffrent cpu to update the bios so thats why I am going with taht motherboard unless there is a cheaper option that this overpriced MOBO. And it needs to be ATX.

Do you need X570? Even if you do, there's a plethora of motherboards out there WAY cheaper than the Dark Hero. You don't need to buy one of the flagship motherboards for a 5800X.

what do you mean im a noob to pcs so yea

If you are a noob to PCs, then you most likely don't need an X570 board. A B550 board should be fine for you, since an X570 is only needed for overclockers or people who needs multiple PCIe 4.0 devices. Here's a bunch of ATX boards that would work for you:

You can overclock on a B550 as well. The only meaningful difference is B550 is PCIe 4.0 only on the CPU lanes, and just PCIe 3.0 on the chipset lanes, while X570 will be PCIe 4.0 on both. Even on B550, though, you'll get one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, so you only need X570 if you need more, really.

Oops, I meant to say heavy overclockers, since you get better VRMs and power delivery on X570.

Not to be pedantic, but probably best to say you *can* get better VRMs and power delivery, such as with the very high end boards. There's B550 boards with better VRMs than some X570.
