Blower Style Graphics Card?

I am currently doing a build in the hadron air and I was wondering what cooler I should get on my GTX 700 2gb. The blower style from PNY or ACX cooler from EVGA. The reason is because there is only about a half an inch between the graphics car and the psu and I wanted to know what would be the best for cooling.

The ACX would be the best, normally aftermarket non-referance coolers are much better than stock cooler on the GPU's, so an ACX for sure

This is NOT true. With the limited airflow in the Hadron, EVGA recommends a blower cooler. Owners of ACX cards report seeing up to 10 degrees HIGHER temperatures than people with blower style coolers.

What about the triple fan from pny? it seems to be a lot cheaper

Oh my bad, didn't see that OP mentioned that he was using a Hadron. I don't know much about the Hadron, but if EVGA actually recommends a blower cooler, then go for it OP

Blower is normally better for small cases. Open designed cards will heat up the air in the case and effect the temperatures of the entire system.

Blower for mATX and smaller in my opinion.

Use the Nvidia reference cooler if you're getting a 770 or above it looks great and Is decent for overclocking

I saw a MSI one that is around 320 whereas the stock is 390

In your case 100% use a blower, I'd pick EVGA myself because in my country they are No1 for warranty, and MSI have very slow RMA service here unless it's a return to base warranty from the retailer.

 

I know EVGA sell them with either the plastic or metal Titan style cooler.
