Since the razer switches are similar to the cherry mx switches im wondering if the cherrys will work on the razer.

yes they use the exact same type of switch technically. It works the same way as a cherry switch.

 

However the feel might be different due to a different plastic mixture etc.. etc..

I don't understand what you want haha.

 

If you just want cherry mx keyboards on the cheap I can give you some recommendations. I wouldn't go with razer myself because they have had some embarassing issues with their cherry mx keyboards previously. 

 

Also go for mx browns if you want to game and type quickly. Blues are just too terrible for double tapping in games.

Looks pretty good and might buy it, but i said backlit.

Also, what mouse do you use?

g710+ is backlit and i use the razer death adder
