Not really that much, but if you want to you can go to 3600

also, both of the power supplies you just sent are pretty overkill, but if I had to choose one I would choose the axi 860

Hello, so I have been in the PC building community for over 6 months. My custom PC is pretty solid, with a 10700k and a 1660 TI (curse you scalpers for making it so hard to get a 3070 for retail price).

I have finally decided to do another build, because 1, its fun, 2, what am i doing lol still an Intel computer, and 3,cause im bored.

heres the build im considering:

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/iCoaster/saved/7dQMVn

Should I use the corsair 100i elite capellix, or the elite platinum?

Do you reccomend the Seasonic Prime Ultra Gold 850 W?

Should I go Firecuda 520 or 980 Pro? i heard the 520 is more durable but the 980 is faster.

Should I use the Evolv X or another case? My budget for a case is $250 or less.

Please tell me what you think of the build.

Thanks.

Firecuda 520 is a data center ssd. Unless you are going to be writing 300GB or more to you hard drive every day you should go with a 980 pro.

motherboard and ram are extremely, and I mean extremely, overkill

Stick to the basics, CPU and GPU, those are mainly what dictate performance. I would honestly reccomend you to get a 5900x when they are in stock

thank you. btw my budget is like $3000 excluding the monitor so i can go a little overkill.

for cases im considering the view 71, the be quiet dark base 900 rev 2, and the phanteks evolv x. I want to top mount my cooler cus with my dominator and my corsair 220 i had to front mount it xd. which of these cases has the best airflow, design, build quality etc.
