Can't install adobe air program

Hello, I have this old adobe air program which i want to install but when installing it

i just get this error:  Sorry, An error has occurred 

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

I am installing this from a CD the disk is not damaged whatsoever..

I also went  to oldversion.com and got the adobe air version that corresponds to that version..

And also the program is for a jigsaw puzzle Jigazo From Hasbro..

I just wanted to try it out with no luck..

Update: I heard it that the issue might be related to the certificate..

Which expired 10/1/2012..

I tried using run as date but that did not work either...
