Buffering streaming to Twitch.

ShayOh

Hi guys!
I'm working on a project to stream audio only to Twtich, 24/7.
I got a laptop i bought for about $10 about 2 years ago, Acer Aspire One 532h-2223, i upgraded it to 2GB, and i installed Linux Mint on it to try and have as low resources taken as possible, but i when i try to stream, OBS seems to work fine, but the stream keeps buffering every about 10-20 second. i played around with the settings.. no change.

i did install OBS via SNAP, and had to force it to open due to the graphics basically not being compatible. is there any other way to stream to twitch that will be more friendly to the laptop?

Thanks!

Well with an Atom N450 and GMA 3150 it's definitely gonna be a bit buggy.

-msi b550-a pro

-corsair vengeance 32gb 3200mhz

You won't be able to do streaming with a 1.66ghz single core atom and you can't do anything to my knowledge to change that. Your best solution might be to get a desktop system with a core 2 duo/quad or an i3 cpu for around 30-50$. You also need a stable internet connection with half decent upload speeds as well.
