Hello,

I currently have 16GB (2x8) of the type Corsair Dominator DDR4 3200Mhz 16GB CL16 (16-18-18-36) 1.35V.

This chip is no longer possible to buy.

I need to expand with another 16GB. Which 2x8GB chips could I buy to expand my current setup?

Which country are you in?

Hi

I dont know where you live but they are in stock at Amazon, bestbuy and newegg for $155

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cfqhP6/corsair-dominator-platinum-rgb-16-gb-2-x-8-gb-ddr4-3200-memory-cmt16gx4m2c3200c16

If you don have those options, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 ($120) runs at the same speed and timings, so should work fine.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vfDJ7P/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3200-memory-cmw16gx4m2c3200c16w

In general just get something with as close to the same speed and timing as possible. they will default to the slowest common speed for both.

If you want me to answer, please use the quote function or tag me. I dont get notified unless you do

I am considering just swapping the sticks out for a set of 2x16GB G.Skill F4-3200C14D-32GTZR.

I don't see that exact product number listed in the compability doc from Asus, but F4-3200C14Q-32GTZR is there. As far as I can tell, it's the same chips, but one the latter is in a quad config of 4x8.

Would have been nice if there was a kit of 2x8 with the same timings as the ones I have though, but it seems that exact setup isn't really sold anymore:(
