Windows random Freezing

Go to solution Solved by apexcrisis,

Video is private. Do you have NZXT CAM running?

Hello!

I recently upgraded my machine and ever since my windows has been freezing randomly and the only way to fix it is to hard shut down and reboot. I'll be watching videos and going on different websites, nothing too intensive and all of a sudden the video will start to buffer then freeze and i won't be able to click on anything. My mouse still moves around but nothing responds. ctrl+alt+del does nothing, start menu doesn't come up, can't launch task manager. I've completely reinstalled windows and updated to latest version of all drivers/bios with no luck. I'm starting to wonder if this is a hardware issue but i've run stress tests on my CPU and GPU and it didn't crash, and i've run a memtest and it passed with no errors.

Video of the issue:

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X

Mobo: Gigabyte Aorus b550 Pro

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super

Memory: 32GB g.skill rgb

Windows 10 Pro 20H2

OS Build 19042.906

Wow, after seeing your reply i googled it and found multiple threads talking about CAM doing the same thing. Closed it and have been a few days without a freeze!

THANK YOU
