Hello!

I'm having some trouble setting up my brother's PS3, as the controller's won't connect.

Ive tried connecting by plugging the controller into the PS3, holding down the PS button, and pressing the little reset button on the back.

I think my cable might be broken, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

Any help is appreciated

You literally just need to plug it in and press the PS button so yes, I'd suspect the cable or connector is broken.
