Killdisk - UI stretching off screen

Recently started the long process of wiping my old HDs using kill disk. However the UI is stretching off screen - no matter which monitor I use (of varying resolutions) but the result is the same

 

i am booting this off an old HP small form factor PC -  VGA out to my display

 

if anyone could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated
