I've installed a CPU cooler today, stress tested the CPU and everything was fine. Played some CSGO matches which were fine. Later played a round of Escape From Tarkov and since then CSGO has been crashing on launch with no success on booting it up. Ran a CPU and GPU stress tests, everything was fine. Uninstalled EFT, verified game files to no success of getting the game started. Any ideas what can be done?

UPDATE:

Managed to find a fix.

1. Go to your Steam library and set your CSGO launch options to -windowed -safe (whatever you have written there before these two commands simply copy your old launch options and save them somewhere);

2. Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > userdata > Open the folder with your Steam ID > 730 > local > cfg;

3. Depending, you may need to delete either config.cfg or autoexec.cfg (in my case it was config.cfg);

4. Start up CSGO and make sure it works in windowed and safe mode. If it does, replace your launch options to your preference and done,

NOTE: Deleting config.cfg will remove your in-game settings and you'll need to setup everything a new

Video if that's more comfy for you:
