I recently bought the MSI GF65 Thin with an I5 10500H and an RTX 3060.

I've used HWinfo to monitor the temps throughout a gaming session of about 2 hours of the game i usually play.

The average temps across all 6 cores were around 80 degrees, maybe some creeping up to mid 80s.

The thing i am concerned about, is that the max temp showed 94-99 degrees across the cores.

Should i be worried about the max temps? Or the average temp for that matter

In a laptop, thermals normally suck. Many laptops get extremely hot. I'd consider 80 degrees fairly good for a 2 hour gaming session.

Alright. First time laptop owner, so that's good to know 🙂
What about the cores reaching maximum temperatures of 94-99 degrees?

Very normal. If you look at something such as the Dell XPS 15, it easily reaches 99 degrees. It's just how laptops are with high powered chips. Nothing to really worry about.

I may be stupid, but at least I'm not an idiot.
