CS:GO crashing during loading maps

hey guys, i have recently switched my pc from a ryzen 5 2600 to a FX 8350 and a brand new windows and disk, so i installed CS:GO and everytime i join into a map it crashes because it takes a lot of time to load a map and windows thinks that its not working an dautomaticly cloases it, i have reinstalled CS:GO and windows many times cant figer the issue though still im having trouble and i cant play CS:GO so please help me i might go mad soon xD

Wait - you went FROM a Ryzen 5 2600 TO an FX-8350 or FROM an FX-8350 and TO a Ryzen 5 2600?
If you went TO an FX-8350, switch back immediately. The FX-8350 is a Celeron compared to the Ryzen 5 2600.

i know i sold my pc so cant,.. will be getting a xeon though this thing sucks without hyper threading its just till my xeon from aliexpress arrives...

thit is about the CS:GO issue not my cpu is just that it might help, because i wanted money for a better GPU and ended up having even worst gpu, soooo dont be greedy

Well, it might be that the FX-8350 doesn't have instruction sets that CS:GO needs (e.g. FX is too old).

Nothing you can do in this case, though if anyone else has any other ideas feel free to chime in.

This talk about the FX series being too old to even launch a game is making me feel old lol... But ya I'm pretty sure CS:GO is older than the FX series that's not the issue. 

 

Are you able to play other games without issue? Do you have over 4GB of RAM?

 

I would first try regenerating your CFG folder, go to "Wherever you have your steam folder"\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo and rename the CFG folder to something like CFGbackup. The game should regenerate a default CFG folder next time you launch, sometimes when changing hardware I've seen doing this fix weird issues.

yes i have 8GB, the issue isnt inside CS:GO it starts to load but you know the windows report problem/program not responding cloaser. normaly the windows reporter would give CS:GO time or at least flash me with a dialog that gave me 2 options wait or cloase, you could click wait and it would just let you load the map and play, now it just cloasees the program and thats it so anyideas how to disable it? i had a windows 10fresh last week and it poped the notification with only one option "to cloase" i watched some videos i disabeled it but it only disabeled the notification it cloased instantly, i have got a new drive now and new windows i havent touched it and it now too doesnt show notification just cloases instantly, so help? please
