Playstation 5 USB switch problem

Recently I purchased an USB 3.0 switch on Amazon. On PC everything works great. When I switch on the second output slot (Playstation 5), my keyboard, 2 mice work fine, but...

My Pro X Wireless headset turns down the volume to around 15% and the volume wheel on them stops working. Basically I can't use them like that.

Does anyone have an idea why this USB switch/hub in combination with Pro X Wireless headphones (wireless dongle is plugged in) has problems on Playstation 5?

Thanks in advance.

Possibly overdrawing the power that the PS5 USB port can provide?  If you just have the headset connected to the USB switch, do the wireless headphones work fine?  Do they work fine if you have the wireless dongle plugged directly into the PS5?

The switch has an additional micro usb for power at the back.

Connecting just the headphones in the switch has the same problem, the headset directly plugged in the PS5 works fine though.
