Yes most certainly.

I just need clarification in upgrading this old rig of mine, its an Intel i5-2400, 8gb ram DDR3 (4x2gb ram), HP 1494 Motherboard and an old MSI GT 630.
It is compatible to replace the existing ram with 3x Kingston 4gb DDR3-1600, and the GT 630 with a 1030 or  a 1050?

 

The articles I read said that the motherboard or cpu (i think) can only use 1333mhz, so I'm wondering if it'll work.

Not sure the legacy bios will support the UEFI video card either.

 

Best bet, upgrade the entire platform.
