NZXT, Gigabyte, and RGB fans and RGB strips

Hello, i am having a hard time trying to choose which rgb fans and rgb strips that will work properly and sync with my current setup. I found that the NZXT controller uses a USB 2.0 header for my mobo. However, my motherboard has 2 spaces for rgb slots one addressable and the other is not. I already have a header in use for usb 2.0 for front pannel connectors. I wanted to add and replace 2 140mm fans i have in the case.(1 at the top for exhaust and 1 at the rear). Im also interested in the rgb strips from Phanteks: Phanteks Innovative Computer Hardware Design. I want to avoid using different software to control rgb lights.
