No Audio

I know it seems simple. Everything was working fine until I moved some fans around, no audio was touched and even checked and reinstalled drivers for NVIDIA and Windows. Cords are all in and the cable looks good too. Would a system restore fix the problem?

I doubt it do you have a second place to plug in the audio jack? Like front of case of case or in the back I/O?

i have tried the front and the back to see if the speaker would work but saddly no. not even transferring through HDMI or DP

when i open up the mixer it says there is audio playing on my monitor and in chrome but the system sounds dont move.

First try a different speaker or head phones, and different sources as well start off with easiest stuff first. where where the fans installed i know this sounds silly but did you try unplugging them and seeing if it worked?

i tried 3 different sets of headphones and speakers, i even moved the fans back to the position before and with them out of the system and still no change. Checked pins and still no avail. I have been messing with this for 3 hours now haha. I am trying to delete all my audio drivers again and going to reinstall.

at least my bluetooth/wifi card gets here tomorrow. Hopefully that will work ahha

i will live without audio for now and hope the wifi/bluetooth card will fix the issue but i doubt it. I might just have to get a whole new mobo

so after further inspection the audio is coming form the system just cant get an outport to work. The volume mixer is moving just no audio is being sent out.  tried speakers and monitor in many ways to get the output to work, even swapped out a HDMI for a Display Port cable to see if that would help, sadly no. The bluetooth card will be here in a couple hours to see if that will by pass the issue of the output device.

UPDATE!!! My wifi/bluetooth card works for by passing the problem. Thank you for the thoughts on the matter
