Hi!

My components are: i5-4590, 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, Asus CS-B motherboard, 2 case fans and also the following PSU.

I'm planning to get a used GTX 970, which uses an average of 120-130w while gaming with an absolute maximum of 180W.

Now I'm thinking: How much wattage you think, this PSU is capable of delivering?

And also, the GPU would need 2 x 6-pin connections and this PSU only has 1 x 6+2-pin.

I understand that in theory, I COULD use 2 Molex to PCI-E 6-pin adapter, as each Molex is capable of transferring 50W?

As the card will also take around 50-60 watts from pci-e slot.

Or should I follow "if you have to use an adapter to make your PSU do it, your PSU shouldn't be doing it."?

Thanks a bunch!
