BenQ projector problems

I've got a BenQ MX660p projector that was given to me as not working. There were white vertical lines across the projected screen. I fixed that by putting new thermal paste on the DMD chip and reseated the chip. But now a new problem arose. After approx. 2 minutes, the color wheel seems to struggle, slows down, the projected screen turns a solid color but the picture is still visible, and the projector turns off, with the main fan spinning up to 100% and the screen disappearing, with the projector still on. I thought about replacing the color wheel but I don't know if that'll fix anything. Any ideas how to fix it? I can provide pictures and a video if needed.
