Ram channel help

Use either two or four sticks. Which one is up to you. If you have 8GB I would go with 2x4GB to give you room to upgrade to 16GB later

Ok, so im kind of confused on the channel ideas for ram. I have the GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0) which has the four ram slots, but its a dual channel board. Does this mean that ill get the best performance out of it by only using two ram cards, or can i use four so long as there are two dual channel kits?
