Posted January 21, 2021 So I have a Samsung np700g7c and it runs a gtx 675m and I'm trying to install a gtx 1060 mxm card but when I did this my laptop wouldn't power up I was thinking maybe I need a power brick with better output but now I'm think that I should disable the gpu and then install the new one
 Posted May 5, 2021 I know this is an old post however I was in same boat as yourself and you most likely found that it isn't possible to do that due to the vbios imbedded in the motherboard or rather that's what I was told by several and read in various places on the interwebs. If you did sort this can you explain how you did so I can do the same as the laptop is a decent laptop otherwise.
