I got a computer earlier in the year and then moved 3 months after. Once I got settled and it was being shipped the computer wont start. I noticed the graphics card was slanted and looked funny and looked aroynd the port and found the housing cracked around it and was letting it droop. I later noticed soemthing happened and the locking pin had fallen out and I guess let it sag. Its been a while now and fighting for the insurance on it I couldnt get reimbursed. Im wanting to fix it myself and dont know what to do. The port is cracked on the motherboard the graphics card seems okay Im not even sure how to check. I just wanted insight on the matter and to see if anyone could help me or if I should post this somewhere else for help. The motherboard itself has a red light on it witch shouldnt be there and it says its the graphics card from what ive looked up. Yet when I try the graphics card in the bottom slot or have it unplugfed or try even seeing if the top port works it just stays on. It makes me think its the motherboard but im not sure if theres soemthing I could or should do. Im new to computers but love them and dont wanna mess this up further.

There's no way you can fix that yourself, even if you replaced the plastics the mobo could be cracked on the inside

If the card's PCB isn't damaged and works in a different slot or mobo it's fine.

Soo replacing the motherboard is probably my only option? The graphics card seems perfectly fine but ive heard it can look fine inna situation like this and not be. Soo if I replace the motherboard and try the graphics card It shouldnt mess up the new motherboard right and maybe even fix it. As kind of a best case or what are some options you think? Cause ive tried the secondary port and it doesnt work soo im worried both will be messed up. The motherboard is cheaper then the graphics card though soo thats why Im asking. If I get a new motherboard and try my graphics card it seems fine but Im not sure it shouldn't mess up the new motherboard right? Hopfully....

Im sharing some of the pictures. One is of the graphics card when I found it and how slanted it was. Then there is 2 of the graphics card itself im not sure if it looks okay or if something is wrong. The last one us of the top port on the motherboard. If you can help in someway or give me options to try id be soo greatful and I hope the pictures help.
