Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Hello everyone,

I have a Rapoo 9200m wireless keyboard and mouse combo. I am having problems with both, the mouse keeps freezing up and wont move the pointer for about thirty seconds(happens a lot), and the keyboard doesnt respond often and when it does it sometimes double types the character. It is very frustrating and annoying. I have changed the battery and the same still happens. I have googled the problem and the only suggestion is to change the power management settings in Device Manager which I have done and didnt seem to fix the problem. I need the set to be wireless due to my setup and was wondering because the reciver is plugged into a usb at the back of the pc whether the wifi internet is interfering with it. If so, then would it be an idea to get a usb extension to run under my monitor so maybe it would be better. Any ideas or suggestions would be very helpful.

It is a new build pc (2months old) with a ryzen 3400g, msi gaming plus max b450 mb, 16gb ram, running windows home 10 pro.

if it's right next to the antenna, it's very possible. Definitely try the extension and give it the best line of sight you can. I had a similar issue with my wireless keyboard for my DeX setup until i shifted the receiver to be more in the open instead of hidden under my desk in a hub.

Thanks for the reply. I have just installed a usb extension cable and moved the receiver to a better line of sight. will wait and see if this solves the problem. hopefully it will. thanks again.
