Budget (including currency): 400

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and some content creation

Other detail: Deciding between a 9900k for 300 which i already have a new z390 aorus master board for, or sell the board and get a 10900k for 365, or a 5600x for 300-350.

I don't know what to do, Intel is stable but PCIE GEN4 on RYZEN sounds nice as well as future upgradability. I plan on running a 2080 TI for now and a 3080 TI in the future. Thoughts?

Thank you for the help :)

If you sell the motherboard you will have to buy a replacement. Decent new motherboards are not cheap.

The i9-9900K is still a decent gaming cpu, especially if you can get a decent oc.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
