XMP problems w/ ryzen 5

I upgraded my CPU from a ryzen 3 2200g to a ryzen 5 3600. Games would run for 5-10 minutes then crash. I reset my bios and completely eliminated the problem. After turning XMP back on I encountered the same problem. XMP gave me no problem at all w/ my previous CPU. Can somebody explain why my system is unstable now, or tell me how to fix this?

gigabyte b450 ds3h motherboard

Ryzen 5 3600

2x 8g ddr4 rip jaw 3600 ram

RTX 3070

Possibly the IMC isn't stable for the XMP speeds with your 3600. What is your SOC voltage at? If it's too high or low, it might create instability.
