HTC ONE XL root

Does anyone know if a root for the HTC ONE X will work on my ONE XL?
I don't want to try in case it bricks me! :(

Android flashing is very risky. If something is similar to something else it will brick. The section you've mentioned is for the One X and not the XL. If you want info on the XL, look in the XL section in order to root it.

MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS 100% IDENTICAL AND THE SAME BEFORE FLASHING ANYTHING.
