Hello! I'm trying to build a pc by myself for the first time but I'm kinda new, so I don't know a lot about computers (i do have basic knowledge on what each part does) :). So i find it very difficult finding the right parts for my pc. Anyways, i tried putting together some parts with pcpartpicker, and I wanted to ask what should I change and how could i improve this build ?

Other than the CPU you basically have what I was running up to a few months ago so I will definitely approve. For the CPU I would be looking at 2000 series at least, if pricing is an issue CPUs are normally a reasonable risk second hand so perhaps that would be an option?

Absolutely. I had a 2700 but there would be little difference for the average user I think

If you can get a single kit for the ram rather than 2 separate sticks you might find it easier to work with but that would still work if the cost is cheaper.

I really should have thought through the first reply but here's another maybe if you can

Either have a small solid state drive for the operating system or replace the HDD with a SSD. This should improve boot time and system responsiveness noticeably.
