I’m not sure what’s going on, I just built my first own computer but my second build and I used the same USB to download windows with.

Gigabyte B55 Aorus Elite (Motherboard)

Corsair Force MP600 1TB (SSD)

Ballistic 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 White RGB (RAM)

AMD Ryzeb 7 5800X 3.8 GHz 36MB (CPU)

Corsair LL Series LL120 RGB White (Fan)

Corsair Hydro H100i RGB Platinum SE (CPU liquid cooler)

ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 8GB TUF GAMING OC (GPU)

Corsair TX750M 750W (PSU)

Cooler Master Masterbox TD500 Mesh white with RGB (Chassi)

So what happens when I try to start it up is that I get less than a second to press f12 to start up BIOS and everything in there seems to be fine. If I start it with the UEFI option it decides to just show a image of the Aorus logo, if I choose just the USB or SSD then it just shows a black screen with a blue Windows logo and took me about half an hour until I lost my patience the first time. I also tested to switch to another USB to see if the one I had earlier was corrupted but nothing changed.

Format your USB.

Check if your media tool was downloaded correctly. Delete it, and download it again. Do not use the same one that you downloaded before to transform your USB into a Windows Boot Media.

If it does not work

Reset your BIOS default options.

Put your USB as primary boot option.

If it does not work

download the latest BIOS on https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios put it on a USB and update the BIOS.

Then, put your USB as primary boot option again.

and if it does not work im just out of ideas haha

remember to change your primary boot option after installing windows!!

I’ve tried it over and over and it doesn’t let me update my BIOS at all, I might be doing it wrong but from what I’ve found I should have done it all right
