First time ever needing assistance or advice with troubleshooting and hardware issues, so bear with me. Yesterday I was playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint with a buddy of mine, and we were chatting in our Discord server just fine. I wake up today, eager to play with him again. However, when I join the voice channel, he starts screaming to mute my microphone, and says that it nearly blew his ears out. So I joined the channel on my other account to hear what he heard, and it was just a huge amount of white noise and general static, not even picking up my voice. I've spent most of the rest of my night trying to troubleshoot and find out what's wrong, and have reinstalled my audio drivers multiple times, tried a completely different headset, tried plugging my headphones into my keyboard and into the jacks on the back instead of the jack in the front, carefully inspected and cleaned both the male and female jack components, and have noticed that output audio works just fine, I can listen to my music on Spotify and audio in games perfectly, but as soon as I enable the microphone though the sound settings in control panel, the white noise static starts up again. Nothing I've tried seems to work, so I'm certain it's some sort of hardware or driver issue. I will note that I'm wondering if my Cyberpunk 2077 installation or recent Discord client update had anything to do with it, because those two things are the only changes I myself have made to applications in over a month. Any clue what's gone wrong?

Turn your volume down really low before watching, it is an extremely loud noise
