Egpu using exp gdc

I won a gpu giveaway but I don't have a pc but i have a laptop so i want to connect the gpu to my laptop via m.2 slot using the exp gdc my laptop is the acer aspire 5 does anyone have experience on this laptop using the exp gdc

With how the GPU market is right now, depending on what it is, it might be better to sell the GPU. What was it? But to answer your question, I have used an Acer Aspire 3 with an external GPU and that worked fine, I have heard that some BIOSs dont allow for eGPUs but hey, worst case scenario you plug it in and it doesnt work, you send back the gdc and sell the card.

Horrible idea. If you can't use the GPU in a desktop, either sell the GPU or store it until you can get a desktop.

Well actually i lied i did not win a gpu im planning on buying a gpu a rx 5500xt
