Fan splitter question

Zainudeen khodair

So I was building my a pc today when I realised the motherboard only had one fan header. I then went and got a fan splitter but I realised that the case fans were DC connectors (only had 3 pin slots) so I was wondering could I use both of my fans in a splitter even tho the splitter has 4 pins and on the second it has 2 pins, space, and then another pin? Please could someone answer quickly I鈥檓 want to get this built soon 馃榿

Yes, you can use that splitter.

The 3rd pin is for reading rpm and the header only reads rpm from one fan.聽

Moved to Cooling.
