Emby Remote Access

Hi. So I've been running Emby for a while and I was toying around with the idea of setting up another computer to run the server and act as a NAS. I thought it would be a good idea to make sure I can access it from outside my home network. Been testing using my phone with wifi off. I have followed their guides and troubleshooting steps, I cannot for the life of me get it to work remotely. It works perfectly fine with my Chrombook and Phone while on the home wifi.

 

Windows 10

Arris SBG6580 Modem/Router Combo connected directly not over wifi

Spectrum Cable Internet (US, South Carolina)

Static IP set from within Windows

Remote access active in Emby

Reinstalled and let the app try to manually configure remote access

Ports 80 and 8096 manually forwarded

 

As a side note I also tried Plex and I could sign in and see my Plex server but couldn't access it either securely or insecurely. Also never posted on the forums so if this is the wrong place to ask about this please let me know and I'll repost in the right forum section.
