Hey I own an Xbox One S and some games lag on it...

Is this a problem with the games or my console or my display or is it that just my console is too outdated to run the new games like Avengers, Jedi Fallen Order, and Watch Dogs Legion smoothly?

thanks that means an upgrade is necessary and also that my console is not defective
