I need a hybrid - a workhorse computer designed to cope with heavy CFD and design work/rendering and any other work related requirements I can foresee in the next few years (although adaptable) alongside a gaming PC that will run the best graphics (good for processing CFD data also)
1. Budget & Location

Flexible budget, hopefully somewhere between £1500 and £2000. Cheaper if available but I don’t want to limit anything realistically.

2. Aim

The main reason I am looking to build is due to use of CFD software and 3D design requirements alongside other engineering applications. I am currently studying, my computing workload is growing and my MacBook isn’t handling it too well. I am have been a console gamer for 10+ years but always wanted to PC game - with the release of next gen consoles i was going to invest, but decided I would build the gaming requirements into a desktop. I don’t play the most demanding games but can see myself getting very much more involved in the world of gaming if my PC had the capabilities.

3. Monitors

The monitor I currently run alongside my MacBook is full HD 1920x1080 @ 60Hz but I will probably get rid and buy 2 4K enabled monitors so please add any suggestions on.

4. Peripherals

Will need a mouse and keyboard - I have both but they’re just Bluetooth accessories for laptop so performance isn’t great.

5. Why are you upgrading?

To reiterate, I’m looking to build longevity in this PC, I’m hoping it will be future proof at least to an extent, with option to game but mainly focused on the design work output I can achieve on it.
Extras

quiet as possible would be ideal. Obviously when running heavy simulation or games I’d expect some fan noise. Wouldn’t be opposed to liquid cooling. RGB is always nice but not necessary.

Thanks a lot for any help in advance.
